People's Commissariat for State Security
The People's Commissariat for State Security, more commonly referred to as NKGB, is the internal policing agency as well as the umbrella intelligence service of the United Superstate of Soviet Republics, created to give NKVD more of a backbone, they deal with things varying from the liquidation of capitalist workings in the Superstate to the destruction of counter-revolutionary movements. One of their biggest jobs (other than protecting government officials) is battling espionage, both counter and offensive, and as such, has been given control of AEN, the Advanced Espionage Network, which has since been renamed the Advanced Espionage Service, in an effort to unify their fronts against their enemies.
The NKGB is charged with the protection of the Superstate, not from others, but itself. The People's Commissariat for State Security is the internal policing force of the former USSR and now the CSFR, and therefore has been given the authority to arrest any persons deemed corrupt or otherwise unfit to rule. NKGB has the legal authority to engage in targeted killing.
However, the powers and duties of the NKGB do not lie purely in the homefront, and to better battle foreign born corruption, espionage, or interference otherwise deemed damaging to the Superstate, the AES, Advanced Espionage Service, has been placed under the authority of the NKGB, with which they may choose to act with without the prior consent of any higher authority, Executive or otherwise.
Unlike Narkovo, Military Affairs, which has been divided into separate branches for each individual State, all of which is under the single administrative umbrella referred to as Narkovo, the NKGB has no divisions. The NKGB is not subject to the authorities of each individual State, only the People's Commissar for State Security, of which, is currently Marius of Velikorossiya; the NKGB is an ever present force, one that is, in some ways, on par with the Soviet in influence over the current and future policies of the Crown Federation.

The NKGB employs about 66,200,000 uniformed staff, including about 4,000,000 special forces troops. It also employs about 160,000,000–200,000,000 border guards.
The Sand
Background Information:
Known merely as the Sand, their true numbers are unknown to the general public. In fact, most knowledge pertaining to the Sand is known only to a handful of privileged leaders, largely black star generals that don't officially exist.
The Sand are almost certainly a product of the Quasi-Awakened project from the 180's. Their very existence has only been recently declassified and what exactly they do for the central government remains shrouded almost entirely in secrecy, even from the likes of Velikorp.
One that is known, however, is their extensive use by the NKGB, State Security. It is believed that they are so perceptive, they can actually hear thoughts, steal dreams, and learn secrets without you even knowing the difference.
The Eclipse Chain Gun was originally developed by the Arcan Federation, and has many classified capabilities, it is used mainly by the SSES, and is only used by RAAID when conventional tactics fail, and when they are heavily outnumbered.
Available at the price of руб 1,500 per unit.
