The Communist Party of Velikorossiya (the Menshevik-Trotskyist Party prior to May 31, PD 288), the largest political party in Velikorossiya, is headed by Chairman Konstantin Leon Kironal, and is aligned with the ever-present Fourth International, an organization of political parties of Trotskyist nature throughout the Universe.
CPV calls for Universal Communism, as according to Trotskyist belief, since capitalism is an international system, the only way to truly replace it in one country is to eliminate it entirely. MTP is in direct opposition of Stalinism, and favors democracy over most forms of government, it also opposes imperialism, as well as trade with capitalist nations. The Menshevik-Trotskyist Party is but one of several political factions of the Communist Party of the Superstate, and has long been the most successful, and powerful party within the Superstate itself. Currently, three members of the Supreme Soviet of the United Superstate are publicly affiliated with the Trotskyist Party, one being the Founding Executive Chairman. The party's main rivals are the Modern Communist Party (Leninist) and the Imperial Communist Party.
In PD 200, former Executive Chairman Marius of Velikorossiya was unseated as Executive Chairman, with Volkswagen of N. Korea succeeding him, becoming the second Executive Chairman, since then, CPV has taken a quieter note, and their position as an actual force with the faction has been put in jeopardy. The Party has since managed to turn their position around, and after bringing three new nations into their fold, has since stabalized, and for a time held as many as three seats in the Soviet, more than any other party in the past or present.
On December 28th, PD 206, the Trotskyist Party of Greater Russia officially changed their name to the Menshevik-Trotskyist Party in an effort to recognize their greater importance throughout the Superstate, they dropped the name of their nation of origin, realizing that it made party members abroad appear somewhat subordinate to Velikorossiya. This move was however reversed in PD 288 when the party was reformed into the national Communist Party of Velikorossiya, and ceased to function as a supranational entity.
A major chapter of MTP was once found in Arcis at uww.arcanfedmenshevik.sov
