Military Air Forces
Generally referred to as the VVS, the Military Air Forces have been used to some degree and essentially every war ever to grace Superstate history, VVS is under the command of the Chief Marshal of Aviation of the Crown Federation, who in turn answers to the People's Commissar of Military Affairs, there is little presteige in the title beyond the Air Force, however, as they are generally seen as being subservient to either the wishes of RKKA or the Soviet Navy.
Stats:
Taking the standard TIE series command pod with twin ion engines and twin laser cannons, additional armor plating and rectangular wing panels with adjustable pitch were added. Despite their heavier armor, they can actually reach a higher atmospheric speed than the TIE/In starfighter—overall, they are fast, small, and very expendable. A single TIE/D costs 170,000 rubles, many variations available.
TIE Defender
Stats:
Representing a shift in starfighter design from previous TIE models, the ship features a hyperdrive as well as deflector shields to allow it to operate independent of CSFRV capital ships and frigates. The ship's speed and agility, combined with its firepower, made it arguably the most advanced starfighter available at the time.
TIE Phantom
Background Information and Stats:
A modified V38 Assault Fighter, the TIE Phatnom was the result of a development project led by (then) Fleet Admiral Segei Borski and is equipped with both deflector shields and a hyperdrive, along with a technology not seen for decades—a stygium cloaking device, rendering them essentially invisible to all sensors and scanners.
Possessing both the capability for areal and submarine combat, the Darpa Seaplane's use was critical in the CSFR's (then USV's) early efforts to cripple the Deutch Navy.
The Centuary Bomber Plane is a recent acquisition of the Red Navy, the designs and blueprints were a gift from Comrade David and the Communist Empire, allowing the Air Division to expand beyond the Darpa Seaplane and a few outdated fighters.
The Apollo Jet Fighter was originally produced in Comrade David's Communist Empire, and has the ability to land and take off horizontally, thus allowing carriers to have more planes on them, as well as allowing for a quicker takeoff and landing.
The Shenlung (literally 'Dragon King' in Chinese) is a relatively small Air-to-Spacecraft, being able to seat only about twenty people at a time, it is used for combat purposes, and is at the forefront of Air-to-Space technology, it is the first such areospacecraft that can not only land like a normal plane, but can also land horizontally, making it a prime candidate for use aboard aircraft carriers, it can be retrofitted with almost any weapon, although it is fast enough to avoid any pursuing aircraft, it is powered by a nuclear core, and does not need to be refueled within the expected lifespan of the craft.
The Arial Collective "Rum Runner" Transport Vehicle is used largely to move infantry, supplies, ammunition, or other forms of relief to the frontlines. It can travel at speeds of 500 miles per hour and is plated with heavy armor to protect it from glancing blows, but most of its protection comes in the form of numbers, AC Rum Runners are always accompanied by two Black Hives and at least three SQA Fighters in friendly air space, double in neutral, and triple in hostile air.
